Shay the Scottie
Shay in Houston needs a home. This Scottie has her eye on you! Her folks are being transferred overseas and can’t take her so Westie & Scottie Rescue Houston took over. Shay is 8 1/2 years old. She likes cats, but isn’t too fond of other dogs. She would be best in an all adult home. If you would like to be considered to adopt Shay, please fill out an application at www.wsrh.com .
“It is a good thing Shay came to WSRH because she needlessly has been suffering from ‘skin allergies’ all her life,” says WSRH’s Maggie Escriva. “Unfortunately, her people did not know that her bad skin was caused by a diet of low quality food and so they tried to treat it as an allergy and gave her medications rather than changing her diet. Shay is now on a good quality, grain free food, and her foster mom is giving her regular anti-fungal baths. In a few weeks, Shay will have her teeth cleaned and then will be ready for her forever home.”
If your dog has skin issues and you would like some help, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. WSRH is expert at solving skin problems. Ask them for new ideas.
Violet is a Cairn Terrier, maybe two or three years old. She was running in the streets in Odessa, TX, picked up by a good Samaritan and was supposedly a Scottie. First surprise: she was not a Scottie. Unfortunately Facebook and shelter postings did not turn up her owner. Second surprise: two puppies born in short order eight weeks ago!
Violet has been fully vetted, is up to date on shots and will be spayed this week. WTSR thinks Violet should be an only dog. Contact Linda Hill in Midland at email@example.com if you might be interested in adopting Violet. To apply for Violet, complete the application at http://texasscottierescue.com . and specify Violet.
