Coco is doing wonderful,” wrote her new owner Mary Jo in February 2013. “I will send a note about what a great Scottie she has been. Coco loves to chase squirrels in the backyard and loves to walk the streets in the neighborhood. All my neighbors enjoy her so much. She has been a great company for both my husband and I.Thanks so much.”
Mary Jo of San Antonio has had Scotties since 1986. Coco is pictured here in her great under-table-dog-den. She found her new home through an application submitted at Texas Scottie Rescue Fund’s website. Coco is one of the lucky Scotties and Westies placed by San Antonio Area Scottie & Westie Rescue.
Coco is a 7-year-old Scottie girl who needed to “rehome” because of long term medical issues with her owners’ family. When looking for a home, Coco described herself as “very smart and well behaved,” and we’re sure she still is! The lucky new owner adopted a friendly, housetrained dog, in good health, spayed, current on shots and heartworm negative. Coco did admit she was a bit overweight at a little over 30 pounds and expects to diet. (Coco was originally posted on TSRF’s website Nov. 27, 2012.)
